The Cailornia Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to cold plane 0.25 inch of existing asphalt concrete pavement and replace it with Type A hot mix after sealing cracks and repairing failed localized areas. Caltrans also plans to overlay the entice roadway with 0.10 foot of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt Gap-Graded Bonded Wearing Course and build shoulder backing. Additionally, Caltrans proposes to upgrade Transportation Management Strategy elements and culverts within the project limits. WHY THIS PUBLIC NOTICE? Caltrans has studied the effects this project may have on the environment. Our studies show it will not significantly affect the quality of the environment.
