KAISER PERMANENTE IS COMMITTED TO OUR EMPLOYEES For more than 70 years, Kaiser Permanente has worked collaboratively with the unions representing our employees. Today, we are in contract negotiations with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions and recently shared a proposal with Coalition leadership that positions Kalser Permanente for a sustainable future. Our goal is to continue to make Kaiser Permanente a great place to give and receive care, as we work to make our high quality, integrated model of care more affordable and accessible for our members, patients and communities We are disappointed that we have not reached an agreement, yet remain optimistic and committed to work together in a collaborative fashion to resolve our differences Highlights of our most recent proposal, presented to Coalition leadership on July 26 include the following elements for Calidornia based employees Market Leading Benefits Dental Pension Benefits Medical Benefits Prescriptions S0 in -order Performance ndustry-leading $5 office vist mad n/s5 Sharing benefits for Benefits Cash payout based on Comprehensive copays, no deductible copayment when incentive coverage employees defined targets targets are met $40 Million Workforce Development Fund +3% Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition have proposed a program for participating unions to help develop the next generation of unionized health care workers, which includes new-hire training for certain roles and a $40 million Workforce Development Fund focused on addressing the national shortage of health care workers Solid Wage Increases 3% increase each year (2019-2022) Our history-and our future- are deeply connected to organized labor. We remain committed to working together for the members and communities that rely on us.
