Through a unique partnership, the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, California Resources Corporation, California Teachers Association and the DentalCare for Learning Foundation expanded their series of free mobile dental clinics throughout California for students in Bakersfield for the first time. In collaboration with the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, the 1st Annual Bakersfield Mobile Dental Clinic provided free and much-needed dental services in specially equipped dental vans for up to 150 low-income elementary and junior high school students from across nine schools in the school district.
