SATURDAY JANUARY 6 CALIFORNIA BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION PETER ROWAN SONGS & STORIES WORKSHOP Peter Rowan began his musical career in 1964 as a songwriter, rhythm guitarist, and lead vocalist for Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys. He went on to play with such bands as Earth Opera, Muleskinner, and Old and in the Way, blazing trails in folk, country, rock, and Tex-Mex music.
