Four generations of Fielders have called the San Joaquin Valley home. Born in Lindsay, California, I’ve raised two children in Bakersfield. I love this community and work hard every day to make certain the citizens of Kern County are safe.
In over 37 years of service as Kern County Superior Court Judge, I have done my job of applying the law, effectively, efficiently and impartially. For the majority of my judicial career I have worked in high volume courtrooms and have handled well in excess of 100,000 cases. I have not only dispensed an exceptionally high volume of cases, ranging from felonies and misdemeanors to small claims and civil cases, but I have also spent roughly a decade working in, and presiding over the Family Law Court, where I consider the needs of children as paramount.
