We help parents and caregivers take on the role of being their childs first teacher by giving them the tools and resources to foster a ife long love of reading which research shows begins in the home. By the age of theee, the brain is already 80s developed So, when a chlid is given a brandnew book in their hands, it is as investment in their future. We know that if children have a love for books, t wl lead to a love for reading, which will lead to greater academic success down the road. Due to the generous support made possible by this event, we will not only be able to continue to offer these types of servioes and programs, but we anticipate that we will be able to serve even more children and families in the upooming year by distributing at least 30,000 brand new books though all our programa and eventa.
