PedA WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO MY COMMUNITY IN CELEBRATION OF MARTIN LUTHER KING & BLACK HISTORY MONTH Whatlessons havellearned beinginthispandemic to make things better? First the power of prayer works. Pausing for internal reflection works and having special family projects (L.e. check-in with each other, remodeling, long walks, puzzles, and reading) helps to reduce my stress and anxiety. When the pandemic came upon us in March of 2020 ike a thief in the night it greatly affected our families, friends, businesses, schools, youth, hospitals, supply chains and jobs. Special projects, positivity, daily prayer and daily reflection held my family together. When we look at the status of our community and its people it is a reflection of the type of leadership we have. More importantly do each of us see daily, the faces in peril and see the need for coming along side people who need help and shepherding their needs? Do we care about their broken bodies and minds? Do we look at their faces or do we turn a blind eye and say this is not my problem to solve? Do we feel the people's needs for physical and spiritual renewal? Historically the Faith Community focuses their faith family to meet these needs but most have become overwhelmed by the pandemic. I know many locally have done excellent work and are committed to our community for solutions, but there is so much more to be done. I am encouraging each of you to stay the course. God is good and merciful. God has a plan and we are a part of His plan to make things better. This is a message encouraging everyone to work together, stay positive, stay the course and continue our good works to serve disenfranchised men, women, children and families. More blessingsand healing are coming to our amazing community. People who are disenfranchised need to prosper to overcome their desperate circumstances to give them purpose to succeed. Life is very hard and requires lots of hard work. Without hope the will to start is absent, without trust the will to endure is lost. Iam praying daily that we together dowhat needs to be done tomake our community better, cleaner, and safer. We cannot understand the homeless journey without listening and understanding each person's personal story. Let's work together to listen more to the people with special needs in our community in 2022. Respectfully, Morgan Clayton President /CEO Tel-Tec Security Systems, Inc Tel-Tec Monitoring.
