BAKERSFIELD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Kids and Parents: Summer Meal are Here! The Bakersfield City School District is pleased to an nounce our summer feeding program which will begin on June 13, 2018. Thanks to a federally funded program, summer meals will be served free to all ch dren ages -18, scheduled times and locations are listed below. Enrollment in Sum-mer School is not re- uired. Meals are not restricted to persons living in e area of the serving site; children from all areas and school districts are welcome. Federal regulations state that food served to participating children cannot be given to or shared with anyone. Proof of age may be required. However, persons 19 years of age or older may purchase a meal at a nominal cost.
