The California Fruit Depot opened its retail doors cluelessly in 2003 with a cash box, a calculator, and five items in the store; peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, almonds and fresh peaches. We remember when the first customers walked in the door...They were very nice and did not laugh too loudly. Although we are still clueless we now sell over one hundred items and the laughs have subsided to a chuckle.
